Rachel is a mom of littles, a business owner, and as you can imagine to get all the things done she gets up early, before the kids and has a weekly plan to accomplish her goals.
She was so excited to add 20 minute candles to this routine!
By dedicating just a bit of time each week to intentional planning and self-reflection, we can pave the way for significant growth and achievement.
So how can you do this effectively and efficiently?
Here's the way I love to do this weekly to stay organized, focused, and motivated toward your goals.
I call this my Weekly Planning Routine:
-
Lighting a 20-Minute Candle: Choose a consistent time each week to light a candle, signaling the start of your weekly planning ritual. Whether it's Sunday afternoon to prepare for the week ahead or Friday afternoon to reflect on the past week, find a time that works best for your schedule.
- Include Gratitude by Celebrating Progress: Take a moment to reflect on the progress you've made so far and in the past week. Celebrate achievements, no matter how small, and express gratitude for the steps taken towards her goals. Give yourself grace in your weeks and days. This positive reinforcement fuels motivation and resilience
- Schedule & Commitments: Write out your weekly plan, whether digitally or with pen and paper. Begin by reviewing any family and personal commitments for the upcoming week, ensuring they're accounted for in your schedule.
-
Remind Yourself of Your Big Goals (3 minutes): Revisit her big goals and aspirations. You can even write these out every week to bring them to the front of your memory. This could include personal development milestones, career ambitions, or relationship priorities. Keeping these goals top of mind will guide your task prioritization.
-
Prioritize Tasks for Goal Achievement: Prioritize tasks that directly contribute to your big goals. By focusing your energy on these high-impact activities, you can make significant progress towards her long-term aspirations. If it's not moving you closer to your goals, skip it.
- Stay Flexible and Embrace Grace: Leave room for flexibility in your plans. Life is unpredictable, and unexpected challenges may arise. Encourage her to approach changes with grace and adapt her schedule as needed while staying committed to her overarching goals.
By incorporating these simple yet powerful strategies into her weekly routine, you can cultivate a thriving life rooted in intentionality and personal growth.
When you set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and celebrates progress along the way, incorporating a "weekly reset" allows you to start each week with a fresh perspective and renewed motivation.
Together, let's seize each week as an opportunity for transformation and self-discovery. ✨
